Make your Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, 2 Person Relay or 5K more meaningful by going the distance for one of our official charities.
The Santa to the Sea ‘Neighborhood Challenge’. Our great neighborhoods and schools along the race route compete for cash prizes, while celebrating the runners with festive music, Holiday decorations, and cheerleaders.

In 2013 the Santa to the Sea Scholarship Fund, partnering with the Oxnard College Foundation, will award 50 scholarships. These scholarships will go to high school students and adults continuing their education at Oxnard College.
t’s a good, fun, neighborhood race. The support from the public cheering runners on makes the race what it is.
The neighborhood challenge is such a cool idea! They were awesome. Loved the community support and seeing parts of Oxnard I didn’t know existed!
I loved the neighborhood challenge!!! The cheering, bands, crowds, etc… made miles 5 – 11 fly by!!!! It was very hard to pick a favorite neighborhood!
Everything on time and well organized. Makes running the race a lot easier.
Was very easy for spouse to drop me off at the start and meet me at the finish.
The amount of spectators and volunteers cheering on. Clear course direction and mile mark status which is ranked best amongst other races. Organization is awesome!!
Great course support (water, Powerade), tons of gels (very impressive), and the neighborhood competitions was fun.
Everything was great!! Friendly people everywhere, perfect weather, very organized. Loved the pacers, the 1:50 guys were awesome, very funny, inspirational, thoughtful and smooth pacers.
Overall the organization was outstanding. So much behind the scenes work not many might notice, but I did. Also the volunteers were all excellent.
I enjoyed the charity aspect of the event and the fact that you collected toys.
People were so friendly! The home owners even said hello along the route! Having my dog run the finish line with me was awesome too! And the medal is beautiful. Cool down area was filled with snacks giveaways and FRESH FRUIT!! Amazing! The route was beautiful – loved the band during the 5k! Costumes were fun-Whooville, gingerbread man, & Elves-omy!
