Due to its growing popularity, Santa to the Sea will again be offering our 2 Person Relay event. Teams are made up of 2 runners who will each run 6.55 miles of the half marathon course.
Due to its growing popularity, Santa to the Sea will again be offering our 2 Person Relay event.
Registration for the Relay: Each runner can register individually. The Team Captain registers first and creates a team when prompted to do so. (Don’t forget to give your team a creative name). The second runner then registers and joins the team created by the captain. 7:30 AM start with a 4hr. time limit. Teams are made up of 2 runners who will each run 6.55 miles of the half marathon course. More and more runners are finding team members within their office, school, running club, or their friends. Run your fastest and then win your bragging rights come Monday!
Water will be provided at the starting line. Water will be provided every 2 miles along the course, and also at the finish line.

Each runner will receive a collectable finisher’s medal after crossing the Finish Line.

Parking at “The Palms” along side the 101 freeway is for the Half Marathon and 2 Person Relay only. Parking for the 5K and the 1K kids run is at Marine Emporium Landing in Channel Islands Harbor ( see info 5K & 1K ). Shuttles will be moving runners between “The Palms” parking area and the Half and 2 person start. And for the 2nd leg runners of the 2 person relay shuttles will also be available here. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET ON THE BUS GOING TO PLAZA PARK. After the race there will be regular shuttles returning runners to “The Palms” parking area.
All runners are asked to bring an UNWRAPPED toy or gift of at least $10 in value to the event..
Our Half Marathoners and Relay runners can drop off their toy at the Starting Line Santa Statue. Our 5K runners can drop off their toy at the Finish Line/EXPO, in the Marine Emporium Landing, before the race begins.
What Kind of Toy/Gift to Bring: In addition to toys, we have many infants (ages 0–6 months) that need sleepers and clothing. We also have many older children who need gifts as well, so please remember to bring something for them. For teen girls…clothing, makeup, curling irons, jewelry, etc. are great gifts. For teen boys…gift cards to food places, Target, Walmart, etc. are perfect for them.
All runners will receive a collectable Finisher’s medal and T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams for the 2 Person Relay. Age division awards are given by adding ages of both runners to first place team only. We also give out Awards to the Fastest High School in Ventura County! Sign up for our High School Challenge!

The parking for these events is located at “The Palms,” 2000-2201 Outlet Center Drive, Oxnard, CA 93036.
Our shuttles will be moving runners between “The Palms” parking area to the Half Marathon and 2 Person Relay Start Line.
The second half relay runners will have buses available to take them to Plaza Park. After finishing, buses are available to take you back to “The Palms.”
Parking for the 5K and 1K kids run is available at “Marine Emporium Landing” located at 3600 S. Harbor Blvd., Oxnard, CA 93035.
