I can’t make it to the FREE Packet Pick-Up what should I do?


We Offer Race Day Packet Pick Up for an ADDITIONAL $20.00, if you are unable to make it the FREE Saturday Packet Pick Up Expo. You can add this option during registration or edit your Run Sign Up account later if you wish to add it then.

Until November 20, 2018 we will also be offering a mail option. We will mail you your chip and bib for an ADDITIONAL $20.00. Now you Can just show up and run. You can then pick up your shirt and goodie bag at the finish line after the race.

Can I register at Packet Pick-Up?

Yes, as long as a particular event has not sold out, you can still sign up the day before the race.

Can I pick up someone else's packet?

Yes, please bring a copy of their driver’s license.

Where do I park?

How do we get from where we parked to the correct start line?

We will be providing shuttles to move you to your correct starting location. See our Parking page for more information.

Is there parking at the finish line?

Yes, there is lots of parking at Channel Islands Harbor, near the Marine Emporium Landing. Great area for spectating and cheering on your loved ones.

Can I drop off runners at the start line and half way point of the Relay?

Yes, you can drop off runners near the start. Exit Rice Rd. and head towards Ventura Blvd and turn right. Make your first right into the parking lot. Be careful of shuttles dropping off other runners. Once dropped off runners will walk towards the Big Santa located at 2801 Ventura Blvd. Oxnard, CA 93036. The Relay hand off zone drop off point for the second relay runner is at Plaza Park in downtown Oxnard at 5th and B Street.

I finished the first half of Relay, how do I get to the finish line?

We will have shuttles at the Relay Hand Off Zone at Plaza Park to take you to the finish line. From there you can collect your medal and hang out and cheer on other runners. There will be shuttles running from the finish line back to the Palms Outlets throughout the day for those needing to return to their cars.

Can runners do both the Relay (first half) then run with their partner for the second half?

Yes

Can I walk the course, push my kid in a stroller or take my dog?

You can walk the course -- there is a 4-HOUR TIME LIMIT. Strollers are allowed, but please stay to the back, your time starts when you cross the start mat. If you have a friendly dog, on a leash, you two can walk the 5k ONLY.

Do you have a costume contest?

Yes, we are offering great prizes for the Half And Relay, the 5K and the Kids Run. See Our Costume Contest Page.

I am not running, but want to volunteer, what do I do?

We would love to have you as a volunteer, the more we have the more fun this event is. In 2016 we had almost 500 volunteers. As a volunteer you will receive a Santa To The Sea volunteer t-shirt and a nice Santa hat. For More Info, Check Out Our Volunteers Page.

Is this a rain or shine event?

Yes, this event is rain or shine -- SORRY NO REFUNDS.

What is your Refund Policy?

As runner’s safety is paramount, race management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of management’s control such as extreme weather conditions or other emergencies as determined by race management. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

How are the Half Marathon and 5k courses marked?

The course will be marked at every mile, with a running Santa Mile Marker as well as lined with cones and turn by turn arrows on saw horses.

Will there be water and Port-O-Potties on the course?

Yes, approximately every 2 miles there will be water stations and Port-O-Potties.

When will results be posted?

We will post results on our website after the race. The timing company will have kiosks at the finish line area to check results. They will also provide a printed list. About 10 days before our event you will receive an email from our timing company offering a link to sign up for instant results and/or athlete tracking.

Will there be awards?

Yes, awards are given to the top 3 men and women overall in the Half Marathon and 5k and Age Group Finishers. Prizes are also available for the Costume Contest.

Can I transfer my registration to another event?

Yes, if you are transferring from the Relay to any other event, please contact the Race Director at Info@Fastgreenracing.com If you are dropping down in distance (i.e. the Half Marathon to the 5k) the transfer is FREE, but there are NO REFUNDS. If you are transferring to a higher priced event (i.e. 5K to the Half, 5K to the Relay, or Half to the Relay) transfer fee applies. To transfer your registration to another event:

  • Login to your Run sign up account you created when registering

  • Click on My Profile

  • Under Up Coming Events Santa To The Sea Half Marathon click Manage Registration

  • Click on the Transfer Event Tab and follow the instructions.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes.

  • Login to your Run sign up account.

  • Click on My Profile

  • Under Up Coming Events find Santa To The Sea Half Marathon and click on Manage Registration

  • Then click the Transfer to Another Runner button

  • Complete the information needed and follow the prompts

How do I defer my registration to next year?

Deferrals (transferring this year’s registration to next year’s event) are accepted through 11/15/18. There is a $15.00 processing fee to defer. If you want to defer from this year to the next:

  • Login to your Run sign up account you created when registering and click on My Profile

  • Under Upcoming Events locate Half Marathon and click on Manage Registration button

  • Click on Defer Registration and complete any needed information and then click Confirm Payment and Deferral button

  • Once you finish, we will store your information and automatically register you for the next year's event. Next year, you will need to claim that registration.

How do I claim my deferral entry from last year?

We automatically registered you for this year's event, however you are not done yet. You must claim your entry! To claim your entry:

  • Go to our sign up page and select the tab labeled "Find a Participant" and look yourself up.
• Click the button next to your name labeled "Is This You?"

  • Select "Claim Registration." You will then receive an email from Run sign up.

  • Follow the instructions in the email. Then go back to Run sign up and login to your account.

  • Click on "Profile" in the upper corner

  • Click on "Manage Registration"

  • Answer everything under the; Sign Waiver, Questions, Corral, Giveaway and Add-Ons tab. Then verify that your mailing address is correct and verify your age

  • Lastly, update your emergency contact info by clicking on "Profile" and then edit Profile icon to the Far right of your main account information.
